Camera Audio Surveillance Solutions
Audio Surveillance is a feature that can be added to a Video Surveillance System. A microphone can be used at the camera location(s) to record audio and capture more complete evidence on an incident.
Audio Surveillance is commonly used to obtain evidence of verbal abuse between customers and employees or between employees. It can also be used to help positively identify perpetrators in court, especially in cases where the visual image is not very clear and leaves reasonable doubt.
Phone System Audio Surveillance Solutions
Audio Surveillance can also be added to a VoIP phone system or service. In this application, the VoIP phone system can announce to callers that "this call may be recorded for quality assurance and training purposes". The VoIP Call Server (or Service) can then work with a Recording Server that would record the audio, date, time, extension, ...
These recorded calls can be used to train new sales reps, to ensure quality control and/or prove what was said in the event of a dispute.
This feature was previously only available to large companies via large phone systems. The feature-rich capabilities of VoIP calling services enable call recording and many other enhanced call routing and procession features.
