Voice Intercom Solutions:
Voice Intercoms are commonly used to service visitors and enable remote access control. A Voice Intercom System can allow a receptionist or other user to verify who is waiting outside and then release the door/gate lock.
Video can be added to the 2way Audio Intercom connection to enable further verification of who is requesting access. This video can be recorded to document who was granted access. In cases of unknown visitors, the user can request a photo-ID be presented to the camera. The visitor then knows a permanent record will be kept of their identity. This can prevent undesired activities and provide peace-of-mind for the system users.
This Voice and Video Intercom function can be enabled between multiple desks and doors in a building or even between different locations across the world.
A Voice Intercom Call Box can also be integrated with an existing phone system so that any phone in the building (or group of phones) can be notified when a visitor is waiting. To notify a group of people, a phone system feature called an Automatic Call Distributor (ACD), Hunt Group or Blast Group can be used to ensure that someone answers the visitor's call.
