Voice Warning / Voice Annunciation Solutions:

Voice Warning can be a feature of Intrusion Detection & Alarming systems. The Voice Annunciation functionality can allow a system to instantaneously play a pre-recorded audio warning upon detection of an event such as a perimeter barrier crossing or door/window opening.

An example of this Voice Annunciation Warning would be a property that has a Perimeter Barrier system. Upon detection of a person/vehicle entering the property, the exterior lights in that area could be turned on and a pre-recorded message could be played saying "We are currently closed. Please leave the property. We re-open for business at 8am. Thank You."

The Alarm System can also send an alarm to a professionally monitored Central Monitoring Station (CMS).

The Alarming Operators there can connect to the site with 1way or 2 way audio and optionally even see video to verify if there is a valid incident in progress. If the Alarming Operator is provided with 2way audio capability, they can even remotely persuade the intruder to leave the property immediately.

This verification step also allows the Alarming Operator to report a crime in progress to the police. A report of a verified crime in progress often receives a far faster response than the many unverified alarms often do.

The Alarming Operator can even provide the police with access to the live & recorded video so the responding officer is far better prepared to address the issue.

The most sucessful Intrusion Prevention Systems have a multi-phase, escalating approach to deterrence. The first phase might be the spot lights and Instant Voice Warning upon crossing the property line. The next step might be the connection of a remote Alarm Operator with 2way audio & video upon detection in the zone immediately surrounding the building. The next phase might be the sounding of an alarm and immediate dispatch of police upon the opening of a door/window or motion detected inside the building.

This multi-phase, escalating approach helps screen out false alarms and undetermined tresspassers. Minimizing false alarms and providing increased verification increases the determinitation of the responding authorities and inevetably the sucess of the solution.
